Wanderlust: Four Minutes of Cinematic Aliveness

Wanderlust is a beautiful short film by filmmaker Matt Daniels, inspired by one of the greatest TED talks — designer and restless creative soul Stefan Sagmeister on finding happiness and design inspiration in those moments that take your breath away. With its breathtaking cinematography and quiet humanity, the film, which documents a journey across South America, Europe, and New Zealand, is a four-minute exercise in pure aliveness.

The original Sagmeister talk upon which this film is based remains a must-watch, as do his two subsequent TED appearances.

Couple with Rebecca Solnit’s splendid book of the same title, Wanderlust.
